Lionel Jadot , born in Brussels, started 30 years ago by taking over his family workshop made up of 35 master craftsmen in the high end production of made to measure seats.

A self taught creator who is active in architecture, design, interior architecture, scenography and visual arts.

With projects divided between private and public projects, hotel, stores, bars and restaurants for half in Belgium and the rest abroad, Lionel’s works are both interior creations and also total architecture.

Lionel’s place of creation in Zaventem Atelier is a set of 6000m2 in a former factory, and is also a partner and founder of a Coliving company, cohabs , active in 5 countries and with nearly 2,000 rooms.

For over 35 years Edouard Fernandez has been a creative force in the Real Estate industry. He has been involved in developing or managing over $3.5 billion of commercial & residential real estate representing over 1 million square meters. In 2019, Edouard settled with his family in Portugal where he Co Founded Ombú Capital.

Previously, Edouard was a Founding Partner of the Real Estate business line at EQT, one of Europe’s largest Private Equity firms with over $40 billion under management. Prior to founding EQT Real Estate, Edouard was Co Founder of Wainbridge Limited, a private real estate investment, development and asset management company based out of London. He has held management positions at Hines, establishing several of their overseas offices including Mexico and Spain, where he was responsible for the development of the $1.2 billion Diagonal Mar project amongst many others.

Leonardo Mathias has over 30 years’ experience in financial markets and asset management. He is a member of the Advisory Council of Strategic Value Partners, President of the Supervisory Board of Tagus and Navigator (Credit Securitization Companies), Vice Chairman of the board of directors of Cascais Invest, and Advisor to Brightgate Capital in Madrid.

He served as Secretary of State of the Economy in Portugal’s 19th Constitutional Government. Leonardo founded Dunas Capital, an independent asset manager, in 2010, which he sold in 2015. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director at Schroders for ten years, where he held various positions covering Spain and Portugal, and served on the European Investment and

Savings Product Development committee and on the board of directors of Schroders Alternative Funds in Luxembourg. He began his career at Banco Espirito Santo de Investimentos focused on Debt and Derivative investments.

Leonardo Mathias received a BA in Business Administration and International Finance and Marketing from American University in 1988 (Washington, DC).

Luís de Almeida has more than 30 years’ experience in financial advisory and investment banking in London, Lisbon and São Paulo, consistently leveraging his knowledge and experience as an active, trusted adviser.

In his investment banking career at UBS in London and, subsequently, as head of Rothschild in Portugal, head of Citigroup’s investment banking franchise in Lisbon, and as an independent adviser, Luis led or participated in some of the most consequential transactions in the Portuguese market. He has advised the government and major corporates and investment funds on their financial strategy, executing benchmark privatizations, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and capital-raising transactions in the energy, banking, telecommunications, infrastructure and real estate sectors, among others.

Luis has held board positions in various companies and investment funds, including Portuguese real estate investment fund manager, Selecta, with 11 funds and over €700m under management.

Luis holds an Honours degree in Economics from Cambridge University.

Bernardo joined Ombú Capital in February 2021. Prior to this and from 2015, Bernardo was Director at StormHarbour Securities with origination, structuring and placement responsibilities for large RE mandates from corporates. In addition and over the last 20 years, Bernardo has worked on the development, re-development and analysis of large Real Estate projects and assets, across different uses ranging in value up to EUR500M.

From 2010, he occupied senior key positions on the coordination of large development schemes in Asia and West Africa, and several advisory roles for Private Equity Real Estate funds in Portugal and Spain. Bernardo held client solutions and project coordination responsibilities at Aguirre Newman, and he was Director at Grupo Visabeira, with a focus on asset management and expansion in Portugal and Mozambique.

With strong background in Tourism and Mobility, Miguel has navigated the entrepreneurial landscape from managing sales and operations for leading tour operators to implement and manage the launch and growth of a mobility networks with more than 1.500 vehicles.
